I'm kind of ok with GM not doing some sort of farewell edition, as that will make ALL Camaros the "farewell edition". I figure these cars will mostly go to collectors and will sit in storage. I honestly think that if GM had ANY sense, they'd create hybrid Camaros. This would give Camaro buyers the exhaust rumble that they love, the instant torque to run with Teslas and other EVs, and would slowly pull the hard core ICE buyers towards a "compromise". I'd love to have an electric motor that can get the Camaro off the line with instant rich electric torque, alongside a big hearty roaring V8 that is only summoned after the small electric motor has done its job.
