I was referring to Michelin's disclaimer/warning about driving it below their recommended 40F. I too have driven mine in the 30s on sunny afternoons with some road heat.
I was at Bandimere's fuel station [a very flat area] recently with 3/4 inches of snow on the ground, and the only way it would move forward was in idle. These tires spun with a touch of the throttle.
