Actually, being a boosted application, it physically doesn't help at all.

But, again, being a boosted application, the stock throttlebody is not the limiting factor at all. The only way the larger throttlebody can help is in regards to alleviating a restriction, which the stock throttlebody is not a restriction.

Saying that it help in the mid-range really doesn't make much sense, unless you are at part throttle, in which case the actual opening of the stock theottlebody can be adjusted via the ECM programming. The only way a larger throttlebody will help is the fact that more air is entering for the same opening percentage that is commanded, ie, part-throttle. You can do the same thing with a stock throttlebody by pressing down harder on the accelerator pedal.

So, to surmise, the larger throttlebody changes the pedal feel at part throttle. The stock throttlebody is not a restriction at full throttle. The pedal "feel" can be altered by ECM programming.
