Another +1 for "Don't worry about it!"

My OE runflats lasted less than 10K miles and I ran to Michelin's PS4 Summer only tires - quieter, stickier, and just plain more fun! You don't have to turn off any "nannies" to spin the shite out of'em. U-turns are a hoot and with a 300 wear rating, they're gonna outlast the run flats easy.

Lots of construction in my area, but every time I start her up I make a point of checking tire pressures before I leave the garage. Of course I do have a back-up Subie and even a fun 2-wheeler to fall back on if something does go south but the Michelins have been on for 10K miles now and show no signs of flagging! Don't worry- be happy!!
Good info on the slime vs. TPMS, hadn't thought of that! Thanks! And OP, go for it and get the Summer tires! I once drove home from work on a set Michelin SuperSport summer only, "do not operate in snow" during a freak snow storm with SS tires in a manual trans 5th Gen that was supercharged, uphill all the way for 9miles (OK- it was not steep) without adverse effect. Of course if I'd had a lump of coal up my arse when I started, I'd have had a diamond when I got home.
