I know meth is a fuel but you also need more air to ignite it , if there’s no boost then how do you make power?
Meth kinda like its big brother nitro methane liberates oxygen when it ignites there for similar in a way like a super charger bringing its own air. And u can burn a lot more of it as well per volume of air entering the engine.

e85, ethanol, i think 35% oxygen meth 40% plus some I forget maybe 46% then, nitro flips the script nitro has no afr because it brings it on oxygen and the more u put in the more will burn and make power. 52% ox maybe The limit being hydro locking. The ogs of oxygenated fuels ha.

Oxygenated race gas just means it has some alcohol blended into it to make more power. Fuels that make the most power are also in that order.

e85
methanol
nitro.

I dont know where nitrous oxide falls probly between meth and nitro. But as an add on as it again brings its own oxygen into the combustion process.
