I tried using My Chevrolet App, however Dealer has to activate Onstar and then you call a number to get them sync My Chevrolet App to Onstar. I thought that was a pretty long route, so i directly called GM Customer Service, and the rep only needed the last 8 digits of the Vin number to locate the car. She was very helpful. I totally recommend it. There might be a 5 to 10 min waiting period involved but it was worth it.
