Pluses: You don't have to splice, so it can easily be removed if needed (this was the big selling point for me). It's resusable and universal, so should be able to use it on the next car, too.

Minuses: A little more expensive. Hard to get the sensors on the correct wires on the passenger side, but I don't think a conventional setup would be much (if any) easier. It needs to be retrained now and then. It's quick and easy if you have easy access to the fuse, but when the trunk is filled it's easier to wait until you get where you're going before dealing with it. (And relocating the fuse is something I forgot to do over the winter. )

It's not perfect and a little pricey, but I'd probably buy it again.
