I used to have a M3, and really loved the car. The cost of ownership is astronomical, and the cars aren't what they used to be either IMO and don't have half the soul of a V8 Camaro.
They're phasing out V8's as times are changing, and IMO there is no replacing that sound and feel.
They will be making M cars as they make today for many more years to come, they wont be hard to find any time soon. Missing an opportunity to buy a new V8 performance car would be a tragedy IMO.
