But actually im useing that to my advantage... In my area anyway camaros and mustangs are a dime a dozen and no one pays then any attention. My C8 and Supra are about annoying to drive because you are never left alone if you stop moving 20 people want to talk about them. The Zl1 My buddy took his new one to a car meet and no one even looked at it LOL so will be nice to go under the radar with a top tier performance car
My only complaint i have after being in one and driving my buddies 2022 zl1 is I still feel the interior needs to be made better. it is tons better in the ZL1 then other trims but still lacking for my tastes and when compared to the supra or c8. But that is simply my personal experience and what I have to compare to I realize it is totally subjective. My only real complaint and again personal taste here. is the air vents. Mechanically and function wise they are brilliant with the turning ring. but for me their placement and the shear size of them and the way they take over the interior is a put off for me.
The nav unit could have been better designed and placed then the two air vents below it could have been put on dash and then free up all that space where they are now for phone holder storage or a better placed dc outlet. but again just picking nits... no car is 100% perfect and I think im gonna love it just fine. if not well i have the z06 on the way

Thanks for this, it was very educational
I hear you on vent placement, it felt weird initially and clearly there is wasted space there, but I've taken to this design fairly quickly. You can easily direct the air downwards, which enhances the seat ventilation quite a bit with the A/C on. The cockpit ("coffin") feel is something I specifically love about the car, as it envelopes you instead of making you feel you are sitting "on top of it".
On the phone storage front, I added two "supercar style" phone nets, plus trimmed the wireless charging pad a bit, now it accepts larger modern phones and charges everything just fine. Your ZL1 will come with wireless Android Auto if you're into such things.
One other thing you'll absolutely fall in love with and might not expect is that the faster you go and turn, the better the car handles, it simply feels more and more in its element. Sure, it hides its speed as a "side effect", you will probably want to track it regularly or at least get a radar detector
The 6th gen is genuinely outstanding for its price range, and I only have an SS (albeit with a number of 1LE enhancements, an important suspension mod and quite a bit more than stock ZL1 power). Your ZL1 will have the electronic diff that, as I was told, adds a new level of awesome.
