I just started my ZLE after sitting for over 3 months without a battery charger or tender at all. All the car has done is sit under its cover. It started no problem and we have seen temps as low as -20 here. Maybe worse. It fired right up. I wasn’t worried about oiling issues. I’m a mechanic by trade so I have absolutely no reason to believe there is any special pre start instructions I guess before starting it after sitting over the winter. Just start it I say.
