I'm inclined to believe it's the tires. Maybe they're just wearing down and losing some grip. I just replaced my GY SC3 rear tires today, they were down to 2/32" and I was starting to get some shifting under hard throttle. After replacing the tires today, it's gone. I know when the previous set was new, I didn't have that issue either, only after they're were really worn.

I have PS4S now with about 1K miles on them, maybe even a little less. Honestly they still look new. The car felt faster with the GY’s but was always very stable.
