Thing I hate about built in navigation for vehicles is they need to be updated yearly to keep up with road updates. There's another $100 or more wasted or be like my mother in law with her 2016 Equinox and GM not offer map updates anymore. Yes, they don't offer map updates on an "obsolete" head unit.
Some people want it and others don't. Which I totally understand but I'm one that won't ever get built in nav again when you can use your phone or purchase a Garmin for under $100 with lifetime, free map updates.
Not trying to start a debate but giving my opinion.
