Savings aren't as huge as you'd expect, I was certainly surprised. My '17 SS got essentially the same efficiency on the highway as my V6 did (26-30 mpg). Around town it's roughly 3-6 mpg difference (23 vs. roughly 17-19).

For the OP, the 6 is fine. Being an enthusiast-centric demographic on the boards, you're going to see a lot leaning towards the 8's. There is, however, a passionate V6 enthusiast segment.

Personally, I'd love to have an LT 1LE for a daily.
