and they control it also...last time they were asking people to leave their thermostats on 55 to conserve electric, i got home and my nest (owned by google) had turned itself on a setting i'd never put it on, and my xbox (microsoft) also turned itself off.
neither is a big deal, but it reveals the direction this is heading. scary af
