1516 springs would be a better fit with the steel valves. You can also set up a 1516 for .660 lift in an LT and still be .050 from coil bind with the correct parts.
EDF is correct. You can make 600CHP with a small smooth idle cam on a 416/427 LT. We have made 560RWHP with a 427 and a cam that had 0 lope.
