Compared to his previous c6 z06 I tend to believe it’s going backwards performance wise. In a straight line the c6 z06 stock for stock/mod for mod is 100% faster. The ls7 just pulls that much better up top plus the vette I believe has overall less drag. Around turns I agree that an SS 1le puts power down way better but I think the c6 z06 would edge it out around most tracks. It’s lighter and pulls harder and is no slouch in the corners just like the 1le. Research on this forum is what makes me believe this plus the fact it’s faster in a straight line and lighter. That link below isn’t the only one I’ve found where previous owners tend to believe the c6z06 is a more capable car.

I’m not hating on the SS 1le. With the way things are priced it’s probably my next 6th gen because I’m not paying current used zl1 prices right now. Also I’ll 100% admit that a novice/intermediate driver will be quicker around a track in the 1le. But a pro will be able to get the most out of the c6z. I said this in my first post and I’ll say it again, the 6th gen SS/SS 1le is a better/more useful car than a c6z. Both are badass and you can’t go wrong.
