Im in the same boat. I bought a cheap one last year because they could deliver quickly. And we got the vert Jan. 2.
This year I have a Covercraft. I got the cover and 2 tensioners. Plus a bag for just over 400 bucks delivered. It did take close to 8 weeks for delivery as they make them to order in the USA. I ordered from Carcoverworld.com.
The cheap cover was still $200. A sealskin. The difference is night and day. The Covercraft is custom made for the exact vehicle. The sealskin was way too big.
I used clamps to pull up all the slack by clamping to my winter wheels. Plus the rope under the center. By the end of the winter the eyelets had pulled out. Its lined with a cotton layer inside which is good. It didnt scratch anything but it left the vert top filled with fuzz. I still have it.
I have the covercraft on without the center tied and have yet to put the tensioners on and it fits snuggly enough that it hasnt moved.
Last time I posted a pic it was sideways. But here it is.
