My comments are coming directly from just getting out of my SS 1LE and into the PDK GT4 back to back as a owner of both.
For number racing, the 981 GT4 manual and the SS 1LE have very similar lap times. The 718 GT4 manual is quicker by a bit, and I have not seen any 718 PDK GT4's compared against the SS 1LE as of yet for track times.

You are dead on, he was faster at some parts of the track and I was faster at some. But at the end of the session, I pulled away a little. We had a great time and chatted in the pits afterwards.
