However things have evolved over the years and again we now have cheaper fueling options along with larger superchargers and improved port programs for the stock supercharger to increase efficiency.

For example...look up airtroops thread on his basically stock motor LT4 CTS-V3. With a 2650 swap and ToohighPsi port injection plates the car made over 800whp on E85. That is with stock heads, cam, exhaust down to the cats.

You can get LPE DI pump and +30 injectors for around 3,740.00. Or you can get Mikes Port Injection plate system for around 2k. Both of those options are cheaper then paying somebody to pull the engine to swap a cam. The LPE +30 combo is going to max around 700whp on full E, probably 750ish with E50 with a bolt-on LT4.... Mike's PI plate system will go 800whp + before needing to address some other areas of the build but the fueling is there for 1k whp. Changing injectors and high side is much more simplistic but obviously more limited. Swapping a cam is going to run 5-6k(unless doing the work yourself) and you will make about 700-730whp on 93. Maybe 750whp with E30 mixed in. So a little more power then the LPE +30 bolt-on combo but nothing drastic. I bet the LPE +30 combo on E50+ runs more consistent being it will be able to tolerate much higher MAT without pulling timing.

Either way the OP already has a 11:1 H/C 2650 C7Z making too much power for the street. He wants this build to be similar to my car. Make just enough power to still be useable on the street from a second gear launch. This should do the trick...It should be a low 10's mid upper 13x combo on 20" wheels. Full drag pack at the track with passenger seat pulled it should have enough to break into the 9's....plenty for a street car.
Those from AirTrooper are some real good numbers.
