I just wish it had about 300 more hp and still offered in the manual as it would be a perfect car for me then. A gt2 rs with a manual would do as well I would buy either one. A gt4 rs with a manual and 600-700hp i would buy today.

Well, IMO stock for stock, the GT4 sounds MUCH better than my 1LE did. However, I did have the Corsa Extreme cat-back system on my car and with that, they both sounded good equally good, just in very different ways.
The GT4 is a different sound and very unique. Since the motor is right behind you and no glass or barrier to isolate it, it is not an "exhaust" only sound. It is a mixture of engine, intake, and in the upper RPM's exhaust.
As far as power, before I had mine and based on numbers alone, I would have agreed with you and I was a little worried. HOWEVER, real world, the GT4 is MUCH faster than its numbers show. Firstly, I think Porsche underrates their figures, and secondly, I think their drivetrain loss is pretty low. This car flat out FLIES.
It feels MUCH quicker than my SS 1LE, especially in the upper RPM range. The 4.0 motor in the GT4 revs really quickly as well. Having said that, I do have the PDK version. Not sure if you would get the same feeling from the manual, but probably very close.
