I recently had a ride in my friend's Tesla Plaid. It is a low 9 second monster you cannot run at Atco. The ride was roller coaster good, but the silence was deafening. And the flying saucer reverse noise was silly.
Driving my low 12 second Mostly stock M6 LT1 is infinitely more fun. And much less dangerous to let loose. Still the Plaid is super cool. But a nice Station Wagon SUV is much more useful and would be 1/3 the price
I think a hybrid Blazer RS would be cool to me as an LT1 companion. Waiting.....
On the other hand so many of us work from home now, more trains makes more sense to me than more EVs to preserve our planet. Once our planet goes so do all of us. The earth is in big trouble and perhaps already too far gone to save.
