I think it depends on what your plan is with this car. Be brutally honest to yourself.
This is is the last model year of the (subjectively) best looking ZL1, an absolute powerhouse with almost no known issues (apart from the oil pump, see the related thread
here; worth a preventive replacement), and it's practically an unused car, barely broken in—however, as TXCSSU said, you will probably lose big time if you are planning to sell within a year or two, and you're not going to have the latest electronics in the car (infotainment, rear view camera) that is 4 model years behind current while you're paying the price you would for a new car, disregarding the potential long wait for a moment.
In your place I would go for it. My car is already my forever Camaro, heh... this is the last generation with a V8, and you'd be getting the top dog of the product range, so your car may become a classic and not actually depreciate that much in the longer run.
