Well I cant really leave this alone because it is a safety issue. Our wheel studs are 14MM x 1.5 look at the manufacturers recommendation on the number of threads that SHOULD be engaged by the lug nut. 7-8 threads is NOT OK. It very clearly states 9.5 threads at a minimum for our size wheel stud.

There are numerous other charts will confirm the same thing. I witnessed an accident due to some lug nuts coming off a wheel at high speed so I take this very personally.
