Just about any newer car sold by the major manufacturers is 50 state legal.

Bought my ZL1 earlier this year from Iowa and drove it back. As mentioned, a smog check then inspection from DMV will allow you to register the car.

I did have some title issues due to covid delays at Iowa DMV. I got a couple extensions but there was like a week where my tags were expired and the dealership could not send an extension yet because of their DMV delays. Other than that, buying a car out of state is pretty straight forward if it passes smog.
