The problem I see(and likely why the 3100 was canceled) is that the rotor pack ideally needs to be in a bigger case and that will cause clearance issues. The biggest hurdle on PD stuff with GM vehicles is hood clearance and why the 2650 and 2.9 have shorter upper manifolds. Look at the ZR1 and how GM made a custom hood for the much larger case of the LT5. The GM 2650 is actually bigger then the Maggie 2650r. Then also take look at the Hellcat stuff...
This is likely another reason why the Whipple 3.8 isn't going to make it to the GEN 5 platform.
