Welp, I assembled something almost identical… instead of 1/2” pex, I used 3/4” pex tubing. Snug fit but not tight. The clear tubing on my jug wasn’t long enough so I had to use a longer piece of pex tubing.
I’m glad to report there wasn’t any spillage and 5 gallons only took 65-70 seconds. For reference, the pump at the gas station dispensed 5 gallons in 52 seconds. Close pace!
