They will use dedicated EV platforms. I'd go so far as to say that GM is one of best positioned for having a dedicated modular platform designed specifically for their small CUVs, cars, and up to their large SUV and truck platforms. That platform is Ultium

The full EV Blazer might carry the same name as the gas Blazer, but that's about it.
If GM is smart, they will make the EV Blazer and EV Equinox not look like an EV from first glance. There are some good examples out there (The Lyriq does an acceptable job at this while looking good) , but it's way past time for car companies to stop making their EVs look like a rolling virtue signal.
