About -2 in front is plenty. I haven't noticed less understeer with more camber (I am at around -3.2). Its about more even tire side to side wear (at the track). Lap times are more dependent on tires/tire compound. More camber also gets into reduced braking footprint, which matters at some tracks more than others. At COTA I still wear the insides faster because of the high speed straights ending in hair pins. I may reduce camber. For street use you'll just wear the inside and put lopsided wear on the bearings.
