So due to my height and the way I seat (as low as possible), the armrest REALLY gets into the way of my shifting motion so I finally decided to remove the entire damn armrest yesterday, much better, however now the center console looks a bit off since the holes for the hinge are exposed and there's a hole for the locking mechanism, I'm wondering if I could maybe add a (non-permanent) leather insert around those parts to cover them up and have the center console not look like it's missing something so much, any suggestions about how to get around this?
