I really like the look, more than some of the goodies. IE Not a fan of the suede, leather and bolsters (although, very comfortable once planted) would rarely, if ever utilize the ELSD’s capabilities (at speed), could take or leave the NPP (prefer AWE), don’t need massive / very expensive brakes, I never fully got used to / utilized the heads up display (superfluous).I did struggle with whether to get the mag ride or not.. extra coolers for the street are overkill. I like the hood wrap… but on someone else’s car. I’ll give you the blade spoiler, as the stanchion spoiler or no spoiler (in my opinion) is ugly as hell. I sprung for the blade spoiler.
If you’re straight up just driving on the street (which 90+% of people do) The LT1 is best bang for the buck. Let’s say the 1LE and the LT1 square off at a set of lights…it’s basically a tie (other than summer rubber) all this performance for perhaps 25% less dough. Again I get it, different story at the track.

My thoughts too. And for me, all that extra stuff, wheels, spoiler, splitter, mag ride would have been taken off.
For someone like me that just wanted a V8 and manual the LT1 was perfect. All the extra exterior stuff and some interior stuff of the 1LE or SS would be wasted considering I plan on changing all that stuff.
Not a track person and never going to take my car to the track.
