Sorry for the late reply but there aren't issues with chips for a setup like this, any more so than with something that tucks in slightly more. The tire itself would be more of a culprit as the compound would dictate how much it tosses rocks around.
I would agree that particular car could use a bit more camber up front, but there are no issues with the fender lip contacting the tire, even under compression. There's not that much stroke in the strut to get down that far, it would hit the bump stop.
