I've heard that nose multiple times. Fuel pump makes sense.

In fact, there was one stretch where I was working on the interior of the car, opening and closing the door many times over the course of two weeks without driving the car in between. I put a battery tender on to ensure it didn't go dead. No problems there, but when I finally tried to start the car to go for a drive, the engine had to crank over for like 4 or 5 seconds before it would start. Perhaps it was too much fuel from all the times the pump kept activating. Never had an odd starting event prior or since!
