My 21 is extremely soft... Had to find new products to use on it because my typical pads and compounds would leave a finish I was unhappy with. Finishing it out perfectly is more tricky, that's for sure.
Worked on other brands of cars as well, never had much issue.
My previous Toyota (Scion xB) had a clear that was rock hard in comparison, even though people complained that it was super soft too... Yeah right! Had to use aggressive compounds and pads to remove swirls and it cleaned up flawlessly without following up with more delicate combinations.
Most people complain that every automaker has the worst paint... Because most don't know how to properly care for them. However, the Camaro really does indeed have a super soft clear, no question.
