I understand an LT1 vert would be 50k, I'm saying I wouldn't pay that for a LT1 as you can get a 2SS for a bit more. The entire purpose of the LT1 was to be an affordable base v8 model and at 50k, it is not.
I suggested the Mustang because is may be more affordable in convertible form (I don't know). Either way though, it should be considered when your buget is around 50k
