The ZLE made sense to me in regard to performance (hot) : ownership cost (crazy). I will say the C8 interior feels like a million bucks when you sit in the driver seat, really no contest there in comparison to a lot of other cars full stop.

For folks lauding the rear mid engine change I agree it makes any car better, different, but better around a track. I'd like to see longevity in this still relatively new chassis and engine before putting money down however. The Fiero was rear engine RWD MT, yet from a former ownership perspective not a shining example of performance or reliability regardless of power output. I think the older and typically wealthier crowd will dig em, I'm a younger track guy willing to make automotive things a distinct priority but the media hype and price games will be bonkers for awhile. Crawling over broken glass to early adopt a brand new 100k+ depreciating investment with little hope of future and/or affordable tuning doesn't compel me at present. Still really cool just not for me, and honestly with a Fiero or MR2 and 30k you could make a streetable track car that excites me a whole lot more.
