Depends on final curb weight and price of the Z07 optioned setup with Carbon Fiber wheels, but ill venture to say that the curb weight will be 3600+ easy. Dry weight at the lightest / fully carbon spec'd is 3434 so figure another 150-180lbs for fluids and such. As such, if GM is wanting $150k for the car with those options, I would laugh all the way out the door. Its neat looking to a degree but simply not worth the money they are asking. $150k would see me sitting in a Porsche 911 GT3 all day over an overpriced vette.
Also, the unfortunate reality is that for folks who do want to shell out the dough for it, not many will be able to buy one without a seriously exorbitant ADM upcharge. I refuse to pay greedy dealers ADM even though I could afford it, so thats the game ender for me. When the twin turbo ZR1 comes out, that could be a serious consideration but the fact is the ADM dealer r*pe is going to be awful on those even more so.
Looking forward though to the C8 coming down in price to what its actually worth, 60-65k and humbling the idiots who shelled out an ADM'd 100k+ for a base model vette lol.
