A stock Hellcat exhaust isn't any louder than a stock ZL1 exhaust in my opinion when the valves are open. Both usually need a little exhaust work if you want louder.

Wow, your Hellcat was a monster !! I personally think the Hellcat sounds much better in stock form. But that’s always a matter of personal preference.
As much as I thought I was going to, I never made it to a track or road course. I like to cruise on the back country roads of upstate NY. The Hellcat is a handful in the turns but I’m ok with that.
I feel like I need to drive my camaro fast and aggressively to get the same amount of joy I get out of driving the Hellcat on regular roads. It all comes down to preference.
Im definitely going to miss the mind blowing things the camaro can do at high speeds. But, I know I’m never going to a road course so the Camaro will never fully spread its wings while i own it.

It only had 2267 miles on it and was mint. They had a no haggle price of $59,900. I asked how much they paid for it and they said $56,500. They sold it in less than a week. So, think about that. They got 60k for a 2017 non-1LE. Low miles but still, your car is 2 years newer and has the $7500 1LE package.
That said, your car is newer, and has the 1LE package, which to the buyer that will hit the track is well worth it. $60,500 is good but there is probably $63-65k possible if you found the right dealer. Also, the time of year is working against you right now. Once Spring hits and we are still in a supply shortage and everyone is itching to hit the track the values may even go higher. Keep. in mind there are no ZL1 to be had right now. There are like 4 in my whole state and two are verts and the wrong color.

Great points you make here. Thank you for sharing. After reading that i feel a little more confident asking over 60K tomorrow. If I get anywhere between 63-65K I’d be breaking even after 3 years of ownership. I will throw them the keys and run out of there if that’s the case.
I know the time of year is not ideal for me to sale but I don’t want to wait another year and now the car is one model year older and possibly less valuable.
With that being said, you made a great point……..if they are still struggling to build new cars and the demand picks back up in the spring the car could possibly be worth considerably more.
Considering that I won’t be driving it in the winter, I might as well sale it now rather than wait and risk things getting back to normal over the winter and getting hit with more depreciation.
