FL highway Patrol used to use the 4th generation SS and also used the Fox Body 5.0 up until the late 90s when they started to use the SS
Main purpose is to catch speeds on the highway. A few Sheriffs departments also used the s197 Mustang GT unmarked as well for traffic enforcement.
