As a former M3 owner myself, the SS/1LE and ZL1/1LE are compelling choices.
My ZL1/1LE is tremendous on the road course as it meant to pound the circuit to submission. That being said, I know lots of people who AutoX with no issues - It's no Miata or S2000 for sure.
The Alpha chassis paired with the 1LE calibrations make these cars the best M cars on sale today LOL.
