Cooling for what exactly? E85 doesn't add any cooling to the intake charge. on a DI motor the fuel is sprayed directly into the combustion chamber. It is more effective at removing heat from the cylinder during combustion which aids against knock, the ability to run more timing, and coolant temps might not increase as much after a pull. I am all for running E, but just want to clarify what it's benefits will be. If you are trying to cool MAT then you need Alky injection or a Interchiller.
thanks for clarifying...I wouldn't do Alky, but had thought about an interchiller over the past few years. Just seems hit and miss though on which brand to choose. Soon as i think i know, someone reports they had an issue. Typically i dont drive the car in the summer months since we get too much rain. I think if i can do the e it would be a nice trade off for the Boostane.

Also forgot to mention the other reason for running e30 or 40 if possible is i would stop using Boostane. I always run it in the car, even when it was stock to help trying to keep it from pulling timing. I typically run 8 to 16 oz at a time. I have a 5gal drum at the house.
