Ok guys and gals,

Going out to Eagles Canyon Raceway (Decatur TX) on Saturday for Advanced Performance Driving Day. I will be running in the Orange group. Looks like a total of FIVE 25 minute sessions are scheduled including classroom sessions in between.

We will be running Counter Clockwise on the 2.7 mile course (my favorite direction). Upgrade I just finished are Stainless Steel Brake lines and the pedal is MUCH more firmer when compared to using the stock lines. Already using HI TEMP brake fluid. Of course the whole theory being using these lines is that you should see at least a slight increase in brake line pressure because stainless wont flex like rubber will. PLUS you wont get the heat deterioration of the lines due to heat over a period of time. Wheels are torqued to 140 pounds.

The lines I used are VERY high quality GOODRIDGE 16-21+ Camaro SS/ZL1 Steel Brake Line Kit - Goodridge122991 These aint cheap and will set you back about 200 dollars including shipping but seem to be well worth it. WILL SEE.

Tire setup will be as before Pirelli 305 660 18 (26 inches tall) slicks mounted on APEX EC7 18 x 11 wheels ET25 at all four corners. -3.6 degrees FRONT camber and -2.0 degrees rear camber. Tire pressure 30 PSI cold. Using a 5MM spacer up front and also using EXENDED LUG NUTS (Extra Long) that engage about 11 threads on the FRONT Studs and more of course on the rear studs.

I rotated the tires since my last track session moving RR (right rear)to LF (left front) and LR to RF. Of course I can do this pretty easily due to the SQUARE setup. PLUS I like the neutral handling I get with a non-staggered setup.
