With 2 of the same cars but one being auto and the other being manual, I wonder exactly how much HP/TQ or how much of a weight advantage would be needed to overcome the trans disadvantage. For example, my HC with manual trans and 766 RWHP would probably still lose to a stock A8 Hellcat and all due to the trans. At least that is how I feel. I could be wrong. But it just feels like the A8s and A10s have an insurmountable advantage over their M6 counterparts. Even across other platforms it kinda feels like I would be at a disadvantage with the manual trans. I've certainly come across cars that have given me a really hard time up to a certain point. And I think if I had an A8 Challenger HC then I would have utterly destroyed those same cars.
