As hated as dino juice is (because of the propaganda), I don't think it's going away anytime soon. Cars running on petroleum aren't going to kill the planet, it's just nonsense. Once again, true science - observable, testable, and verifiable - has been hijacked by alarmists with a globalist agenda (that's what all this is really about)

Yes that is what I thought too but model s plaid is a 3.84 second 60-120mph car full weight, and this is just the start. I like fast, I don't care how the car gets fast.
I totally agree ice cars arnt going to kill the environment (honestly Elon and Jeff blasting off to space probably caused more environmental issues than all personal vehicles will cause in our lifetime, I would really like to see some numbers showing one way or another) and we will likely see a lot of damage with all the mining/recycling of electric components, not to mention shortages of stuff like copper and lithium.
However it will still be interested to see where they go. I am not getting rid of my blown and turbo ice cars, but for a car that is awd cutting 1.52 60 ft on the street does sound like a nice addition.
There will be plenty of engines and chassis for a long time and if you are mechanically inclined, have the time and/or just have the money to have someone else do it there will always be swap cars.
