My dealer didn't ask for a deposit until my order was submitted. Do you have a receipt and if so what does it say? Otherwise, I would be demanding my deposit back if they can't provide what the deposit was supposed to get you. If they can't provide the order number they didn't provide you a service and they just took your money with nothing in return.
