They definitely create a lot of heat. I bedded mine in on new rotors, but I'm sure like was mentioned before, maybe just scuff them up a little.
Highly recommend those titanium shims and the big front air deflectors.
When are you going to Laguna? There's a 103db day in September I'll be at, think it's the 5th.
