the studs should be hand tight.
put the gasket on
put the head on. area around bolt holes should be clean.
put clean washers on the studs.
put arp lube on the back side of the nut and begin torque spec up to 115 ft lbs.
Ok, agreed. You didn’t mention the lube at all and thought it was worth the clarification.
