the pump with these cars aren't the issue. if you see yourself experiencing high oil pressure then save up your money and change the wires that connects to the oil pressure sensor and the one that goes to the oil pump which we all know controls by sending input to the oil pressure relief valve.

That’s usually the problem which is why I suggested to check the sensor wires. A few others had it chewed up by a belt. You had work done so I’m just guessing here, but the wiring was probably not put back properly by whoever did your work.

The P06DA is open circuit code. Make sure also the sensor on the right side of the crank wasn't damaged. There's been many reports on mechanics not putting that back in place properly and the belt can damage it.
I started following this thread because it is a 2019 ZL1. Glad you sorted this out Nasser and thanks for sharing your experience and how you ended up identifying the issue that caused the high oil pressure.

The following question goes to both Nasser and Camaro1973:

I know I shouldn't worry too much about a failure of the oil pump (mine is a 2020 ZL1), but I always like to be proactive. So pardon my ignorance, but can either of you point me towards the location of the oil pressure sensor and wiring so that I keep an eye every now and then or if I ever decide to mod to avoid ending up with similar issues? Maybe a photo of the sensor itself?
