What is out of sight is out of mind, so GM abandoning the Camaro in terms of marketing is definitely hurting them. Case in point: one of the girls at my work had to ask me what my Camaro was when she saw it. She knew my coworkers Mustang immediately.

Exactly, I was expecting much worse visibility in my ZL1 than what I had in my Hellcat. Is it worse? Sure, a little, but nothing like its made out to be by some people. GM had great success with the 4th gen F-Body initially, they marketed it and people bought them in droves, outselling the Mustang for a few years, then they stopped marketing it and the F-Body died. Then GM brought the Camaro back again in the 5th Gen and marketed it again, and sales took off and outsold the Mustang again, then they stopped marketing it and sales slumped. I don't think the 6th Gen has been marketed at all and its the best Camaro yet.
