I've driven my 2007 Cobalt when it was 116 degrees outside. With the A/C on full blast, the coolant temps stayed within range to where the secondary radiator fan never came on (at least that's what it seemed like). As long as the coolant level is topped off, the coolant temp should stay under 220 degrees.
