Yeah i think the 4" would of been unnecessary extra work to reduce it back to 3". Its 3" in/out with a 4.5" body. Looks like they changed the inside guts, and its also spun differently. I really do hope they hold up because i've spent alot of time/money on these stupid things.
I don't need to pull them apart, i just unscrew the front o2 sensor and run my endoscope camera down it. Takes a few minutes, much easier on my back in the garage then pulling it all apart
I think if your making 650-700 max I think the original Gen 1's might be safe BUT and this is a BUT the tune would need to be perfect and boost cant be crazy high or they'll def not last.
CSP did a very good job however, nice clean install, headers are very nice and the connections they had custom made are very clean as well. Just needed to weld it to my S pipes.
